About Franck

COMMUNITY LEADER

I am Franck Banza, a dedicated family man, married to a wonderful partner, and a proud father of four amazing children. My journey in the Gower constituency is deeply rooted in my passion for community and social justice. I have spent my career working creating and running various organisations, from charities to social enterprises, always striving to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Living in Loughor, within the heart of the Gower constituency, has been an absolute privilege. The tranquil beauty of the Loughor estuary, where I often take leisurely walks, provides me with inspiration and a connection to nature. It's a place that refreshes my mind and energises my spirit.

Community has always been at the core of my life. My involvement in community work began at an early age when my father introduced me to volunteering at our local church and tree-planting initiatives. By the time I was 10, I was already participating in various community projects. One significant cause I became passionate about was the fight against HIV and AIDS. I dedicated my time to raising awareness and educating people about this deadly virus. This early commitment to community service laid the foundation for my lifelong dedication to making a difference wherever I go.

One of my greatest joys is sharing moments with my children, taking them to GG's ice cream in Penclwdd, where we can enjoy the delicious treats while soaking in the breathtaking view of the estuary. My family and I also cherish our time spent at the local churches, St. David's in Loughor and St. Catherine in Gorseinon, where we find spiritual solace and connect with our community.

My journey, from a young boy passionate about community to founding The CAE, has been a testament to my unwavering commitment to positive change. Today, I stand as a candidate with a deep sense of responsibility to contribute to building a better world for our children and the generations to come. This is not just a campaign; it's a heartfelt mission to make a difference and empower our community to thrive.
