Who are we looking for?

We need individuals who are serious about change, who are driven to see progress, and who are excited about what we can achieve together. Enthusiasm is a must – we're looking for people who can bring their energy and ideas to the table.

Campaign Strategists: Are you a mastermind when it comes to campaign strategy? Your insights could be the key to our success.

 

Communications Gurus: If you're a whizz with words, a social media aficionado, or a creative content creator, we need your talents.

 

Community Organisers: Are you well-connected in Gower? Your local knowledge and network could be invaluable.

 

Fundraising Wizards: Helping us secure the resources we need is vital. If you're a fundraising wizard, we want you on our team.

 

Events Planners: Campaign events that inspire and engage – if you're an events pro, your skills are needed.

  • CAMPAIGN MANAGER
    Role: Oversees the entire campaign, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: Develops and implements the campaign's overall strategy. Manages all campaign staff and volunteers. Monitors campaign progress and adjusts strategies as needed. Serves as the primary point of contact for the candidate. Coordinates with other team members to achieve campaign goals.
  • COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
    Role: Shapes the campaign's messaging and manages its public image. Responsibilities: Develops and maintains the campaign's communications strategy. Writes and edits campaign materials, including press releases and speeches. Manages social media accounts and other online platforms. Cultivates relationships with the press and media outlets. Ensures consistent messaging across all campaign materials.
  • FIELD ORGANISER
    Role: Focuses on voter outreach and mobilisation efforts. Responsibilities: Develops and executes a field organising plan. Recruits and trains volunteers for canvassing and phone banking. Identifies target demographics and areas for voter engagement. Organises campaign events and rallies. Collects and analyses voter data.
  • FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR
    Role: Manages campaign finances and fundraising efforts. Responsibilities: Develops a fundraising strategy and sets fundraising goals. Organises and executes fundraising events. Solicits donations from individuals, organisations, and businesses. Maintains accurate financial records and ensures compliance with campaign finance laws. Prepares financial reports for the campaign.
  • VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
    Role: Recruits, manages, and retains campaign volunteers. Responsibilities: Develops a volunteer recruitment and training plan. Coordinates volunteer schedules and assignments. Provides ongoing support and motivation to volunteers. Tracks volunteer hours and contributions. Organises volunteer appreciation events.
  • DATA MANAGER
    Role: Manages voter data and analytics for targeted outreach. Responsibilities: Maintains and updates voter databases. Analyses data to identify key demographics and trends. Helps create targeted outreach strategies. Collaborates with the field team to optimise voter engagement. Ensures data security and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • GRAPHIC DESIGNER/CONTENT CREATOR
    Role: Creates visually appealing campaign materials and content. Responsibilities: Designs graphics for social media, flyers, and campaign materials. Produces video content, including ads and promotional videos. Edits and formats written content for various platforms. Ensures brand consistency in all campaign visuals. Collaborates with the communications team to convey key messages.
  • SCHEDULER
    Role: Manages voter data and analytics for targeted outreach. Responsibilities: Maintains and updates voter databases. Analyses data to identify key demographics and trends. Helps create targeted outreach strategies. Collaborates with the field team to optimise voter engagement. Ensures data security and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • LOCAL OUTREACH COORDINATOR
    Role: Builds relationships with local organisations and community leaders. Responsibilities: Identifies and engages with local interest groups and community organisations. Represents the campaign at local events and meetings. Collaborates with local leaders to address community concerns. Helps shape campaign strategies based on local insights. Cultivates a network of local supporters and endorsers.
  • LEGAL ADVISOR
    Role: Provides legal guidance on campaign activities and compliance. Responsibilities: Ensures the campaign operates within legal and ethical boundaries. Advises on campaign finance regulations and compliance. Reviews campaign materials for legal accuracy. Addresses any legal issues or challenges that arise. Collaborates with the fundraising team to ensure compliance with donation laws.
  • YOUTH OUTREACH COORDINATOR
    Role: Focuses on engaging and mobilising younger voters. Responsibilities: Develops outreach strategies to connect with young voters. Collaborates with local schools, colleges, and youth organisations. Organises events and activities appealing to younger demographics. Creates youth-oriented campaign content. Encourages youth participation in campaign activities and voting.
